The ASA runs an annual scientific congress each year to provide anaesthetists with education, training and networking opportunities.
The National Scientific Congress (NSC) Federal Committee’s role is to plan future NSCs. Every four years, we proudly collaborate with the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists to host the Combined Scientific Congress (CSC)—a joint celebration of shared knowledge, innovation, and connection across the Tasman.
Each NSC or CSC has its own organising committee based in the relevant location, to plan the scientific and social programs.
The meeting typically consists of:
- Scientific Program
- Workshops and PBLDs
- Trainee members Day
- Networking
- Trade Exhibition
