Geoffrey Kaye Oration

After the death of Dr Geoffrey Kaye in 1986, the Society decided to honour his memory by naming all future presidential addresses as the Geoffrey Kaye Oration which is traditionally delivered at the NSC.

We welcome visitors to the Harry Daly Museum and Richard Bailey Library, free of charge. To ensure that we can accommodate your visit, appointments must be made in advance.

Operating hours: Monday to Wednesday, 10am-4pm. 

Location: Australian Society of Anaesthetists, 86 Chandos Street, Naremburn 2065, Sydney, New South Wales.

History and Research Unit

The History of Anaesthesia Library, Museum and Archives Committee (HALMA) and now HARU was formed in June 1996.

HARU serves as a steering committee for these three historical facilities.

The Committee meets four times a year to address relevant issues and to expand the services provided by the Museum, Library and Archives.
