The major objective of the Airway Management Special Interest Group (SIG) is the promotion of science and education by the exchange of ideas between anaesthetists with a particular interest and involvement in airway management.

The executive committee of the Airway Management SIG have created a newsletter which will be disseminated to members twice annually. It contains a brief overview of the Special Interest Group, accomplishments, planned activities, achievements and resources and information on the current SIG executive.
Following editions will include information about upcoming meetings, a research section featuring a summary of recent publications, and will highlight topics attracting interest. Ideas and suggestions for future issues are welcome. Key sections from the newsletter include:
