With the ANZCA exams coming up the ASA will continue to run online practice exam vivas for ASA Trainee Members for the final exam and this session will be hosted by Dr Vida Viliunas.

This session will enable candidates to engage with previous and current examiners and gain an enhanced experience in viva practice.

Dr Viliunas was an examiner for 12 years (2001-2012) and Chair for 2 years (2010-2011) of the final fellowship examination in anaesthesia of the Australian and New Zealand College of anaesthetists and will bring to this session valuable knowledge and insight into the viva process.

TIME:  20:00-21:00pm via Zoom

VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED

As part of these session we require volunteers to take part in a simulated viva where the candidate will receive personal feedback on the viva directly from the examiners. If you would like to be a candidate please email Rhian Foster, ASA Events Coordinator directly at rfoster@asa.org.au 

CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION

• Applicants for the practice vivas must be current Trainee members of the ASA to register
• It is a requirement that all candidates have a working camera and this will be turned on for the session
• Those candidates who volunteer to take part in a viva will do so with the knowledge that these sessions will be recorded and can be used for future training (all recordings will be shown and approved by the candidate before it is used)
