The Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) is seeking expressions of interest for a new trainee representative in Tasmania.
The ASA is the peak not-for-profit representative body for Australian anaesthetists and trainees. As a member-driven organisation, our key goals are to support, represent and educate anaesthetists and trainees across the country.
Our Trainee Members Group (TMG) committee consists of a national chair and representatives from each Australian training region. We meet regularly to discuss matters of relevance to trainees and have representatives on the ASA Council and several ASA committees.
The role of state/territory representative involves advocating on trainee issues, organising local events and representing trainees at state committee meetings and national trainee committee meetings.
If interested, please send an application letter (one page maximum), along with your CV, to email@example.com by Wednesday 25 September 2019.
If you have any questions about this position, please feel free to contact our current TAS state representative, Emily Munday – firstname.lastname@example.org
