Prof. Pawa will discuss all things erector spinae plane block and PVB and to touch on mechanisms, the controversy about ventral spread, which surgical procedures it works best for, and most importantly, share some tips and tricks to make sure that it DOES work for you in your practice.

 

Professor Amit Pawa, Consultant Anaesthetist

Prof. Amit Pawa is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Lead for Regional Anaesthesia at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and at Cleveland Clinic London. He is a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, Ohio USA.

 

He is past President of both RA-UK and the London Society of Regional Anaesthesia (LSORA). Amit has numerous publications in regional anaesthesia with over 3000 citations and also lectures internationally.

 

He has created a series of Ultrasound Regional Anaesthesia Video tutorials on YouTube and co-hosts a Regional Anaesthesia Podcast called “Block It Like It’s Hot”
