This course is a one day Cadaveric Workshop targeted at Specialist Anaesthetists with experience in Regional Anaesthesia.
Expert regional anaesthetists will demonstrate techniques and give hands on instruction on Fresh Frozen Cadaveric Specimens.
Focus points will include Catheter insertion, Catheter fixation and tunnelling, Current catheter sets, use of Ultrasound for catheter placement and confirmation and Prescription for Regional anaesthesia infusions.
The workshop aims to develop skills and knowledge and allow participants to confidently extend regional anaesthesia into the postoperative period.
The workshop will cover major Continuous Regional Anaesthesia Techniques including:
